Privacy policy

Effective October 23, 2026. This policy covers GovBot Disaster History at disasters.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Information processed and purposes

The service processes tool arguments such as state and county codes, disaster numbers, dates, event identifiers and pagination to retrieve public records. It processes network and request metadata, including IP address, time, route, response status and user agent, to operate and protect the service. It does not require an account, use advertising cookies or collect payment information. Do not include confidential information or sensitive personal data in tool arguments.

Recipients

Google Cloud hosts the gateway and processes operational request metadata. GovBot’s data services process lookup arguments, and FEMA’s OpenFEMA service receives the query parameters needed for a live source request. Storm Events records are read from a copy held in the service. We do not forward caller credentials to these publishers. The client you use, such as Claude, processes your conversation and returned records under its own privacy policy.

Retention

Operational request logs are retained for 30 days. The gateway does not log tool arguments, request bodies or returned records. Rate-limit identifiers are held in process memory and cleared within 60 seconds.

Your choices and contact

You can stop using or disconnect the service at any time and manage conversation history through your client. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@govbot.ai. Do not send credentials or sensitive personal information.
