Terms of use

Effective October 23, 2026. These terms apply to GovBot Disaster History at disasters.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-record research. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of each source. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Records have different dates and coverage limits. Preserve source citations and dates when reusing results. Results are bounded and are not evidence that no event, loss or declaration occurred. The sources share no event identifier; any match between them is an inference by date and place. Dollar amounts from different sources measure different things and are not interchangeable.

Limits of the service

The service does not provide insurance, eligibility, legal or engineering determinations or predictions of future disasters or losses. Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
